The Mudhole Duck Club is a private duck club located just one mile from the Missouri River in Orrick, Missouri, 35 miles northeast of Kansas City. For decades, this farm has been well-known as a duck hunter’s favorite with large numbers of migrating waterfowl. Guided for centuries by the geographical location, these birds arrive every season to feed and gather in this vast river bottom area. The club’s 340 acres is located in lowest part of the river bottom. Corn, sorghum, millet and buckwheat areplanted liberally to enhance the natural food sources found in abundance on this unique property. Aquatics, invertebrates and natural foods such as sago, wild celery, smart weed and natural millet excel in the rich ecosystem. The Mudhole Duck Club is carefully managed for high productivity and the ultimate hunting experience for its members and guests.
